A Song of Ice and Lemoncakes by dragoninstall A Song of Ice and Lemoncakes by dragoninstall
Hodor hodor hodor. Hodor HODOR hodor?! Hodor h-h-HODOR. ...
...

hodor?

(translation: Well, looks like I forgot Hotpie. Guess I'll have to take the black for that :I...)

EDIT Dec_14_2011, WHO'S WHO? : It didn't take too long, just don't mind my borderline -poetic descriptions. Er, so you can check out this supplementary image to see who everyone is ! WHY WOULD YOU EVER DO THAT?! SHAME ON YOU! WHY DON'T YOU JUST TURN TO THE LAST PAGE ALREADY GEEZ- but yes , after a Dream of Spring, in the 8th book "A Rasher of Bacon" all is revealed as Hot Pie was really Baby Aegon, Pretty and Crunch sit the Iron Throne, and "HODOR" is the true name of the Great Other. But I'd never want to ruin such a great story for those still reading with such spoilers, but they're probably pretty close I'm going to wager so -

I didn't want to ruin the "fun" ( is art fun?), but sometimes over time fun loses a line on it's f and gains an extra i and all of sudden RUIN. So not to ruin it for y'all, but hey- think of how I feel for once internet!!! I was cursed to be aware of every character I was drawing from the start so I never got the opportunity to bask in head-scratching wonder like all children should and sit silently without a single complaint go-to-your-room (. ; A ;7. I'm pretty delighted it's been well received though since it's like a compositional smorgasbord in terms of contextual relevance, but there's always so many other potential visualizations for the characters in my head so it's tempting to add more... Ooph, yeah I'll eventually definitely have to draw some more ASOIAF stuff down the line. Somehow. I thought there would art be more from people now that I see everyone reading the books 24/7 on the trains, planes, and horseback. So I wanna see some bad ass Hound pictures guys, and Manderly! Bitches ain't got shit on Manderly. True bad-asses of Westeros.. Expect it. Anyways, thanks for your continual ocular digestions.

A Song of Ice and Lemoncakes by ~dragoninstall is an amazing tribute to George R. R. Martin's awesome fantasy novel series. Can you name them all? ( Suggested by SarlyneART and Featured by TheCreativeJenn )

There were only a few I couldn't identify, I assume that was Benjen beside Bloodraven and the giant but I'm not sure, I think the guy between Sandor and Oberyn might be ex-maester Qyburn but he looks a bit young, he I'm less sure about but I can't think of anyone else he might be. The final person I'm not sure about is beside Littlefinger and Varys, is it Brandon? P.S. Nice touch putting Dunk and Egg in there, they don't often get any love so it's nice to see them.

I managed to recognise everyone except for the gentleman between Aerys and Damphair and the two between Rhaegar and Drogo, though I'm not sure whether that means the detailing is excellent or that I ought to get out more.

My personal favourite details are Cersei being tinted by the wildfire (mad spoilers, yo), Rorge in Clegane's helm (spoilerism intensifies), and Ser Boar 'the Kingslayer' of the Kingswood (why can't I hold all these spoilers?).

I think the guy between Aerys and the Dmphair is Darkstar, Gerold Dayne, his hair looks like it's silver with a dark streak, which is how Darkstar's hair is, other than that there's not much unique about him so the confusion is understandable. Darkstar if you've forget was with Arianna when she was traveling out of Dorne to crown Myrcella, as they were ambushed he (for unknown reasons) slashed at Myrcella looking to either maim or more likely kill her and ended up failing in that but left her short an ear and with what will become quite an unfortunate scar. The other two if you're referencing to the large man with the bald boy are from a series of short stories George RR Martin wrote taking place ninety years before the events of the other books. The stories are referred to as The Tales of Dunk and Egg, Dunk is a hedge knight (similar to a ronin in samurai culture, a knight that's not sworn to any lord and just goes around finding work here and there, often thought of as little better than sellswords) that takes Egg as his squire, we later find out Egg is short for Aegon, he is a young Targeryen prince (he keeps his hair shaven so nobody will know who he is), the novellas taking place almost a hundred years ago the Targaryens are still in power. I won't give you any spoilers but suffice it to say they're all pretty good reads, there are three out so far but Martin intends to write more, they're each about a hundred pages long so no big commitment.
